Another good article, and I concur with David D, a great read.
On a separate note, have you connected on LinkedIn with all those people you've interviewed over the last 20 years? If not, it maybe worthwhile as they may be a great source for getting some work.
Thanks! And on the separate note, thanks for the suggestion - I'm quite overwhelmed by the number of things I could/should do. I'll add this to the list!
A great engaging read, Spencer, like all the interviews and programmes I have seen you in. Good luck for the future. Here's hoping my company will book you someday
Oh those CEO opening speech moments, how I loathe thee, let me count the ways!
I’d like to think that if I were in that situation, my basic ( and they are very basic ) social skills, would immediately sense the wave of disinterest and despair descending on the room and allow me to cut short and bail out before people’s souls literally start exiting their bodies and ascending with every badly delivered line of a poorly written script.
One fresh hell that I was exposed to this week was an AI training video on data protection..
A relaxed affair set in a generic office, with ‘J-AI-mes’ and ‘Cl-AI-re’ perched on the edge of a desk, un-ironically delivering their knowledge on how
technology can make employees believe they are dealing with a bonafide member of staff - whilst the nasty people in the dark web steal their every detail.
It was awful. And unnerving - mainly as the only movement was their mouths.
It was also translated from another language - giving a clunky and odd feel to everything said.
I look to you Mr Spencer to stop this in its tracks! Before we end up with AI CEO opening speeches!!!

Have you developed any of your own groundbreaking tech ideas over the past 20 years? Or just any things you just really want to try building?
Is TikTok on your list of things to try? It's much better at finding you a worldwide audience of interested people than Zuckerberg Inc.

Well thanks, very kind! What company is that?
Tesco Mobile! Unfortunately not the owner or CEO, but I know you'd be great
