I really hope that somewhere on linear TV ( until its inevitable death ) someone continues to craft a programme with as much love, care and enthusiasm as the team at Click.

It worries me that we are losing the one ability that linear TV is really good at - putting important things in front of an audience that weren’t expecting it, stories that they wouldn’t have chosen to watch or engage with. That moment when you’re sat having a coffee, TV on in the background and you look up because there’s a man talking to a robot, naturally.

“For you” pages don’t do that so well. Algorithms all seem to have their own agenda - steering us to what they’ve been instructed to push and hiding so much more. They don’t “challenge” the viewer to take a new direction.

Good luck with your training, I’m sure you’ll be fine.

"You’re currently in training for something, but you’ll only find out what when it happens." Brilliant. That has hit me in the feels this morning, for reasons. (Damn those allergies.)

Lockdown continuation was amazing. A podcast I listen to, carried on too, and did extra online events. These 'normal' regular things really did help. I know the podcast was 70 weeks or parkrun content without a single parkrun (withmenow). Click would be simular I assume.

Great remembering all the milestone episodes of click, loved click, used to catch up on the train home from London…great go to show, shame it went the way it did for you in the end..

O only started watching click regularly just before lockdown I had seen episodes before but it was then I started looking for it every week.

The bbc seems to have sort of put of put it under the radar there have been random weeks missed with no explanation. But then if you know about it you will seek it out and I can’t think of another program that covers the same sort of content.

It will be missed or will it appear as a YouTube channel in a slightly different form in the future?

Good luck
